Figurative Forms in Air Dry Clay

This course will provide learners with an understanding of how to experiment with and create Figurative Art pieces using air dry clay on wire armatures. Learners will develop knowledge of a range of techniques, that can be used to create, construct and enhance art pieces It is intended that learners can progress throughout the course, starting with a mood board of their ideas and concepts, moving on to some experiments with techniques and materials, before embarking on their final piece of work.

What will I study?

On completion of the course the learner will: -Have increased confidence and dexterity in making art and craft pieces. -An appreciation of malleable materials and how to create with them. -Have enhanced creative thinking and problem solving skills. -Have learned some awareness of proportion and object balance to make art works aesthetically pleasing.
