You will learn the basic steps of creating marquetry by making a simple panel before designing and making your own artwork in a theme of your choice, be it floral, geometric, a landscape, portrait- anything you like!
There is no qualification for this course.
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions
This course is ideal for students interested in furniture and wood related courses. Marquetry is also a great way to upcycle old furniture and objects in your home.
There are no additional costs; all materials are provided.
Please bring a notebook and pencil for designing your own project. Please wear closed toe shoes.
