Plaster Mould Making (fri)
Working in our specialist studios, learn how to create your own plaster moulds for future use in ceramic slip-casting and press mouldings techniques. Structured technical instruction which takes you through simple one part drop out moulds to 2 and 3 part moulds for slip casting and the creation of effective moulds for press moulding and sprigging . Previous experience of ceramics is recommended.
This course is ideally followed by SLIP-CASTING and PRESS-MOULDING course to give instruction and practical use of moulds in ceramic production.

Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions and where appropriate , through the use of Individual Learning Plans as specified by RARPA.
