Join us for our Pottery evening as we teach you how to make your own pottery. We'll cover everything from throwing on electric wheels to glazing and finishing.
This course offers an opportunity for beginners and more advanced students to experiment with a wide range of ceramic hand-building and decorating techniques. You will be encouraged, through individual guidance, to develop your own creative direction and outcomes. Advice on tools and protective clothing will be given at the first session. Please note: A small charge for materials used will be made for completed work.

During this exciting evening of pottery, you'll learn and explore different ceramic techniques to create your own pottery. You will learn hand-building methods such as coiling and slab work, mould making, casting and throwing on electric wheels. We'll also give you an introduction to glazes and surface design through spraying and painting and scraffito and ceramic transfers.
