What will I study?

Be inspired by a familiar landscape such as your garden or local view, or simply weave and stitch your own dream landscape, perhaps inspired by poetry, music or memory. Using recycled materials we will explore colour, fabric weaving, mindful stitching and simple embroidery techniques inspired by traditional crafts and cross cultural traditions. Let's explore a riot of colour and texture, in a relaxed and mindful way.

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.

Are there any extra costs?

Course fee: £14.00

This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
