What will I study?

The classes will include art exercises and some mindfulness practices. Mindfulness themes such as paying attention to our senses will be linked to the art making. Bringing awareness to different aspects of our experience in the art making process can bring a new sense of connection and enliven the art making process. Working on paper, you will be able to explore basic techniques in drawing and painting. Themes will include: the senses; nature; imagination.

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.

Are there any extra costs?

Course fee: £37.50

This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
