This course is for adults aged 19 and over. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a level 1 qualification.
This qualification aims to extend and further develop learners' skills and to extend learners' knowledge and understanding of the creative craft process. This course focuses on textiles - see below for further information.

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence created by the learner. There are no exams.
The learner will achieve the NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft – Textiles pathway.
Learners may wish to progress to other qualifications in the creative sector.
The fee for this course is £261.00 however if you are unemployed/in receipt of eligible benefits or in receipt of a low wage (less than £26,800 annual gross salary) you should be eligible to take this course for free. Please contact us for more information.
There are no extra costs for this course although learners may wish to source some of their own materials, especially for their final craft project.
Learners must be able to commit to all taught sessions and be able to complete additional work set by the tutor outside of course sessions.
