Discover the wellbeing benefits of focusing on arts and crafts. A mixed media course exploring various creative techniques including pastels, watercolours, collage, illustration, acrylic and pencils. You will have the chance to be inspired by natural items such as shells, seaweed, flowers, feathers and leaves.

What will I study?

Learn new skills and develop your artistic talents in a fun and supportive environment. Join us to explore creativity and boost your wellbeing through the joy of crafting! You will be guided by an experienced arts and crafts Instructor. This course is suitable for all abilities, no previous experience required and is taught in a small friendly group.

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college, including our Level 1 Award in Creative Crafts.

Are there any extra costs?

Course fee: £37.50

This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
