What will I study?

In a small, friendly class, you will learn how to practice simple mindfulness exercises while advancing your knitting skills to cultivate present-moment awareness. Beginners can learn how to cast on, knit and purl, whilst more experienced knitters will get help with advancing their skills and gaining more confidence with knitting projects.

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college, including our Level 1 Award in Creative Crafts.

Are there any extra costs?

Course fee: £30.00

This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
