What will I study?

Guided by basic design principles, you'll experiment with layering, stitching, and embellishing fabric to create one-of-a-kind art pieces. You will go on to develop your fabric collage into a 3D piece . This course is perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their skills in sustainable art-making while reducing waste in a fun and imaginative way. No prior sewing or collage experience required!

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college, including our Level 1 Award in Creative Crafts.

Are there any extra costs?

Course fee: £20.00

This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
