Creative Quilting for Wellbeing

Explore traditional quilting in this course, where we will focus on making a small textile quilt using traditional hand stitching methods. During the course we will explore ways of layering the various materials that make up a quilt and learn how to bond them together. If you already have a piece of patchwork, or if you’d like to transform an interesting fabric into a multi-layered quilt, this is the ideal class for you.

What will I study?

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college, including our Level 1 Award in Creative Crafts.

This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,750 per year (this includes pension income)*. Please select the relevant options when enrolling online.
