NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft

This qualification is suitable for adult learners who wish to develop skills and knowledge in craft. This course is open to all learners aged 19+. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they’ve already achieved a Level 1 qualification.

The qualification will cover three units:

  • Use materials, tools and equipment to develop craft techniques
  • Develop craft ideas
  • Create, present and evaluate final craft item

Learners will study wood whittling, eco based crafts using recycled materials and willow weaving. The final project will be the learner's individual choice of medium.

What will I study?

How will I be assessed?

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence created by the learner. There are no exams.

What qualification will I achieve?

The learner will achieve the NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft.

What can I do after completing this course?

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to a level 3 certificate in areas such as Art & Design, Creative Craft or Photography.

The fee for this course is £273.00 however if you are unemployed/in receipt of eligible benefits or in receipt of a low wage (less than £25,000 annual gross salary) you should be eligible to take this course for free. Please contact us for more information.
