This workshop will be an introduction to Slow Stitching and the opportunity to make your own personal art journal with fabric pages. We will explore the processes involved in the Slow Stitch ‘slow approach’ to creating a small book, from working with textile collage, learning simple stitches, to creating fabric pages from recycled material.

We will explore hand stitching and link it to mindfulness themes in this relaxed, creative, playful activity.
There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.
You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.
Course fee: £13.75
This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
