Students need to provide thier own fabrics, trimmings, springs and foam. You will need to bring an item of furniture to upholster: a small stool or small chair or arm chair.
You will need the following basic tool kit: wooden mallet, flat headed screwdriver, small tack lifter, pliers, scissors/shears/Stanley knife, small tack hammer, tape measure, apron, bin bag for reusable items, as well as a notebook and pen. There is no space at the college to leave items to upholster from one week to the next. Students need to take their items home and bring to college for lessons every week.
