Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of individual learning plans.

Students need to provide their own fabrics, trimmings springs and foam.
You will need the following basic tool kit: Wooden mallet, flat headed screwdriver, small tack lifter, pliers, scissors/shears/Stanley knife, small tack hammer, tape measure, bin bag for re-usable items, as well as a notebook and pen. There is no space at the college to leave items to upholster from one week to the next. Students need to take their items home and bring to college for lessons every week.
