Visible mending is experimental stitchery, improvised mending, fun with thread, arty and exuberant and colourful and silly. Exploring different mending techniques combined with attention and mindfulness, you will evolve a sewing style of your own and gain skills for mending and embellishing your own clothes at home!

You will learn how you can personalize your clothing through stitching, extend the story, flag the beloved oldness, and render your clothing priceless to you, all through decorative Visible Mending! This will be a relaxing, mindful, creative one day workshop playfully repairing and recycling cloth.
There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.
You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.
Course fee: £13.75
This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
