On this art course you will explore your natural artistic talents and develop your art skills using a range of techniques; drawing, painting, block printing, mixed media art and collage. Experiment with different art techniques to create different art projects. You will experience a range of art-types before deciding on your favorite to create an end of year project. By the end of the year you will be able to explain to others your favorite art technique(s) and show them how you prefer to express yourself creatively.
You will be assessed through out the year with the opportunity to set your own personal goals to enable your progression personally and through the subject
These courses are unaccredited, but you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the year.
You can continue with in community learning, trying a different subject or could progress onto other opportunities. Your teacher will be able to support you with your personal goals.
The cost fee is £170 per year (30 weeks), this includes all equipment needed.
Class sizes are typically small, generally no bigger than 10. Each class has one teacher and one learning assistant. You can attend independently or with a carer if required.
