Welcome to adult community learning for those 19 and over with learning difficulties, disabilities, or the need for additional support. You will be taught by an excited, dedicated team of Teachers and Learning Assistants who care deeply about you, your time with us and your learning.

What is this course about? Learn how to navigate around a computer, how to be safe online and learn key technology skills for life. Send emails, use word documents, PowerPoint and publisher, search the world wide web, make and edit videos, photos and more. What will I be doing on this course? Practical IT lessons in a computer room What should I be able to do by the end? Demonstrate your ability to safely navigate a computer and demonstrate lots of new skills to help in a digital world.
You will be assessed through out the year with the opportunity to set your own personal goals to enable your progression personally and through the subject
These courses are unaccredited, but you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the year.
You can continue with in community learning, trying a different subject or could progress onto other opportunities. Your teacher will be able to support you with your personal goals.
The course fee is per year (30 weeks), this includes all equipment/ ingredients needed.
Class sizes are typically small, generally no bigger than 10. Each class has one teacher and one learning assistant. You can attend independently or with a carer if required.
