Join us for a ten week life-drawing workshop tutored by Jeb Haward, designed to develop your observational and expressive skills through guided studio sessions. Starting with analytic and objective drawing, you will explore the formal elements of line, scale, composition, color, and proportion. Jeb’s approach encourages you to examine and challenge traditional drawing and painting conventions to find your authentic voice. With no rigid stylistic rules imposed, you will have the freedom to move from objective accuracy into the rich, expressive possibilities of life drawing and painting

During these sessions, you will learn how to use a range of media through varying styles and perspectives. You will draw and sketch using pencil, pastel, Indian ink, charcoal and graphite. We'll also introduce you to other techniques, including collage, painting, and measured drawing.

This course will be led by our expert tutor, Howard Seaton. Howard is a three-dimensional design specialist with nearly 30 years of experience teaching a broad range of art and design subjects across various levels. He has an informal, relaxed and responsive teaching style with good contextual and subject-specific knowledge.
