Join us for an enjoyable and relaxing introduction to watercolours, where we teach you about colour theory and the two key techniques involved with watercolour painting.
During this course, we'll teach you about the two key watercolour - wet into wet and wet into dry. You'll learn how to paint different washes, use brushes to best effects, the importance of using tone in painting, and how to arrange a strong composition. You'll also learn about colour theory and how to mix the most useful colours for watercolour painting.
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
There is no qualification for this course, but you'll be awarded a certificate of attendance if you attend 80% or more of the course.
