This is an introductory course in watercolour painting. The course is suitable for complete beginners or those with a little experience.

What will I study?
You will learn about the basics of watercolours, the various brushes and the effects they cause, the preparation and mixing of paints and the various surfaces to paint on. Learn how to produce effects such as washes so that you can create a painting such as a watercolour landscape or flower picture.
What qualification will I achieve?
There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course
What can I do after completing this course?
You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.

This is a free course, there are no costs; all materials are provided.
