If you have recently discovered a love for photography, you might want to know how to get the most out of your camera. This beginners course is perfect for helping you to learn your camera's manual controls and learning how to compose your photos.

What will I study?

During this beginners course, we'll teach you how to use your camera's basic manual controls and simple composition. We'll also cover the three main principles of photography: ISO, shutters, and apertures.

How will I be assessed?

Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course, but you'll be awarded a certificate of attendance if you attend 80% or more of the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have completed this course, you might be interested in other photography courses, or perhaps try your hand at some of our other creative courses such as drawing or fashion.

Bring your camera and examples of your work to each session so our expert tutor can help guide and support you with your photographs. please note there wont be a lesson on 12 November as the teacher is out of campus. the course will therefore end on 12 December.
