What will I study?

During this course, the tutor will guide you through setting up a sewing machine, including the different stiches and feet and when to use what. We will then use our new skills to work on projects. Our tutor has a wide selection to choose from including bags, cushions and gifts or bring your own and receive all the support you need to complete them. You will learn an array of sewing techniques including:
select the correct fabric and hardware. Marking, measuring and cutting fabric. Hemming Inserting zips and sewing buttonholes Understanding and interpreting patterns

There is no qualification for this course.

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have completed this couse , you might like to try our mend and make do course, to learn how to repair your own clothes.
