Creative Crafts for Wellbeing- Patchwork for Beginners

Patchwork is a traditional craft used to form beautiful textiles from small scraps of fabric. On this course you will learn how to design and piece together a piece of patchwork. It is easily mastered and would suit anyone from a total beginner to a more advanced sewer looking to learn a new skill. During the course we will explore the history of quilting and look at inspiration from around the world.

What will I study?

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course. Learners can then move onto our L1 Creative Craft-Textiles course if they would like to expend their knowledge and skills

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.

Are there any extra costs?

This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,750 per year (this includes pension income)*. Please select the relevant options when enrolling online.

There are no additional costs. All materials are provided unless otherwise stated.

*If you do not qualify for a free course the course fee will be £30.00
