This enjoyable course will help you to develop your hand embroidery skills. If you joined our Introduction to Embroidery course, then we'll build on those techniques and introduce you to more advanced skills, such as raised and ribbon work.

What will I study?
During this course, you'll be able to develop your embroidery skills and master new techniques, such as raised and ribbon work. Both techniques work using 3D elements to interest and depth. You will also learn silk shading, also known as thread painting which is used to create realistic shading and texture. By the end of the course, you will be able to design and create a piece of embroidery using the techniques introduced in 3D embroidery and depth.

Are there any extra costs?
The course fee includes a rotary frame, but your haberdashery and material are extra. You could either provide your own or we can supply materials for an added £30.
