What will I study?
The Level 1 Access to Bookkeeping course is an entry point for those of you who need additional support to develop finance skills. This qualification is designed to give you the introductory knowledge and confidence to take on higher level AAT qualifications and to progress in your life and career.
Studying an AAT short qualification will allow you to focus on specific knowledge and skills. You may wish to move into employment or advance in specialised subject areas such as bookkeeping in order to become a bookkeeping member of AAT and achieve AAT Bookkeeper status (AATQB). This will involve progressing onto and completing the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
How will I be assessed?
Students must successfully complete one external assessment to achieve this qualification.
