Join us for this Level 1 course in Newhaven, where we'll teach you how to use Sage software for your accounts.
During the course, you will learn how to set up and amend new suppliers and customers, create nominal accounts, process receipts and payments, reconcile batch invoices, and produce reports to trial balance.
You will become familiar with the latest version of an industry-standard accounting software package, gain an understanding of double-entry accounts, and become familiar with computer software packages.
You will need to sit an exam to achieve the qualification. Your exam will be during the last lesson of this course.
Once you have finished this course, you will gain a Level 1 Certificate in Computerised Accounts awarded by City and Guilds.
Once you have completed this course, you'll be ready to progress to the Level 2 course. Or you might like to gain AAT qualifications in accounting.
There are no additional costs.
We recommend that you study this course alongside the Bookkeeping and Accounting Level 1 course.
This class is three hours per week, with the first two hours spent studying for the Bookkeeping qualification, and the last hour spent studying for the Computerised Accounts qualification.
