This course features delicious desserts-scrummy puddings, melt in the mouth pastries, chocolate heaven , soufflés and mousses, sticky toffee cake, frangipane tart and crème Brulee. It will also teach you tricks and techniques for stunning presentation. Approximate cost of ingredients to buy will be £6-£8 per week .
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions and where appropriate through the use of individual learning plans.
There is no qualification for this course, but you'll be awarded a certificate of attendance if you attend 80% or more of the course.
Once you have completed this course, you might be interested in learning a few more cookery skills. We have lots of culinary courses for you to choose from, including French, Breads, Curries, and Fish.
You'll need to bring along your own ingredients, which should cost you no more than £6-£8 per week.
Please bring an apron, dishcloth and tea towel to each session plus ingredients
recipes will be sent to students.
