Make even more of our local bounty! Be more adventurous with what you choose and how you cook it. We will be making a crab tart and fragrant fish stew as well as tackling fish such as hake, gurnard and squid. Plus a session on smoking fish. The approximate cost of ingredients to buy will be £8-£12 per week. Please bring an apron, tea towel and dish cloth to each session. Tutor: TBC
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
There is no qualification for this course, but you'll be awarded a certificate of attendance if you attend 80% or more of the course.
Once you have finished this course, you might like to explore culinary delights from around the world, including our curry, Italian, or Moroccan cookery classes.
You'll need to bring along your own ingredients, which should cost you no more than £8-£12 per week.
Please bring an apron, dishcloth and tea towel to each session.
