What will I study?

Are you fed up with fast food, bland food and ready meals and would like to get creative in the kitchen and experiment with new flavours then this course is for you. Rural French cooking at its best. We cover four regions - the South West, Alsace, Provence and Normandy. Cook classic cassoulet, chicken with apples and calvados, provençal fish soup, rillettes of duck, onion tart, Pâté de Campagne and more. Approximate costs of ingredients to buy will be £8-£12 per week. Please bring an apron, dish cloth and tea towel to each session.

How will I be assessed?

Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions.

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no formal qualification for this course.

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have finished this course, you might like to join our other cookery courses.

Are there any extra costs?

You'll need to bring along your own ingredients, which should cost you no more than £8-£12 per week.
