Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

Join us for this Level 2 food safety course, where we'll teach you about all aspects of food safety, including bacteria, physical and chemical contamination, personal hygiene, cleaning, pest and waste control, and compliance with the law.

This is very much seen as the industry standard and is for anyone who handles, prepares, cooks and serves food.

It is designed for people who actually cook or handle food from chilled, frozen or fresh/raw. It covers all aspects of food safety including bacteria, physical & chemical contamination, personal hygiene, cleaning, pest & waste control and the law.

If in doubt, Level 2 is the course we would strongly recommend as the minimum requirement for anybody working in the food industry.

You will need to pass a multiple choice exam paper in order to achieve this qualification.

What qualification will I achieve?

Once you have completed this course, you will achieve a City & Guilds Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have completed this course, you will be able to handle and serve chilled, frozen, fresh or raw food safely within government guidelines.
