What will I study?

During this course, you will learn expert tips on what to look for when buying fresh fish from a fishmonger, what's in season, and how to prepare your fish before cooking. We will then show you how to turn your fish, crustacea and shellfish, into fantastic dishes, such as crab linguine, mussel pilaf, sole with leeks and ginger, Sussex smokie and posh fish cakes.

Continuous informal assessment.

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course.

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have completed this course you might like to join our other cookery courses.

Are there any extra costs?

You will need to bring along your own ingredients, which should cost you no more than £10-£12 per week
