Thai Cuisine

A five-week course exploring Thai cooking. Thai cuisine encompasses strong aromatic elements and is often light with a spicy edge. The most prevalent flavour in Thai cooking comes from the chilli. Other notable elements of Thai cuisine include Kaffir Lime leaves, lemon grass and they are usually served with abundant broth more like a rich soup and includes coconut milk as a base. A Thai meal offers a combination of flavours; sweet, hot, sour, salty. Usually in addition with the obligatory bowl of rice, there will be a variety of dishes including a soup, a curry, a steamed dish, a salad and some sauces. All the dishes are placed on the table at the same time and shared, they are not eaten in a particular order. join us for this aromatic course in Thai cuisine! tutor: Patrick Nzeli
