During this course, you will explore and examine theoretical and practical perspectives of the application of counselling skills in a range of different settings. Underpinning all learning is the Person-Centred Approach of Carl Rogers, which offers a challenging and exciting opportunity to work experientially and enable a deeper exploration of self-development.
The course offers continual assessment from tutor and peers. Your final assessment is via a portfolio consisting of skills feedback, self-assessment, a learning journal, and a case study.
Once you have completed this course, you will achieve an NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
Once you have finished this course, you will be able to use your counselling skills in the workplace, or you might like to further your knowledge and skills by joining our foundation degree in Person-Centred Counselling.
You'll need an A4 ring binder for your notes.
Entry is only open to those over the age of 19 at the start of the academic year.
