Welding Unaccredited

"The course is designed to give beginners and enthusiastic amateurs experience of welding in Manual Metal Arc (Stick Welding), Spot Welding and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding as well as learning to light oxy-acetylene safely. We will make Lap joints, Butt joints, Tee joints, corner joints and a variety of welds to join box section, bar and sheet welds. There also may be the opportunity to try TIG welding if time permits.

The course gives you access to on-line notes, videos, quizzes and safety information.

All of the expendable materials are supplied for the course as well as a project piece. Welding gauntlets and safety glasses are provided.

You will need safety boots (preferably reinforced toe protectors), flame proof coveralls and welding mask (preferably light activated)."
