This course is ideal for learners who did a bit of French at school but can’t remember much of it (A1/A2). We cover vocabulary and grammar basics for holidays in France, useful expressions and do lots of pronunciation practice. By the end of the course you will know some greetings, times and days, and manage some exchanges out and about using common regular verbs.

This course is aimed at students starting completely from zero. The course aims to give you knowledge of some basic grammatical structures (in the present tense), holiday vocabulary (food, travel, directions), and provide you with the conversational skills to answer simple questions about yourself, family and leisure.
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions.
There is no formal qualification for this course.
You will be able to progress onto the beginners’ continuation course, subject to ability and recruitment.
You will be required to purchase a course book set by the teacher. You will be advised on this during the first session.
