French Beginners
Aimed at complete beginners, this will give you the basics of the language and confidence to speak in everyday situations as well as offering a more in depth approach. During the course we will aim to cover basic topics such as shopping, directions, ordering a meal, booking a room etc. By the end of the course you will be able to speak and understand basic language and grammar. How will I be assessed?
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
What qualification will I achieve?
A college certificate of attendance is available for students who attend 80% or more
What can I do after completing this course?
You will be able to progress onto the beginners’ continuation course, subject to ability and recruitment. Your tutor will be able to advise you
Are there any extra costs?
You will be required to purchase a course book set by the teacher. You will be advised on this during the first session.
