Aimed at complete beginners, this will give you the basics of the language and confidence to speak in everyday situations as well as offering a more in depth approach. During the course we will aim to cover basic topics such as shopping, directions, ordering a meal, booking a room etc. By the end of the course you will be able to speak and understand basic language and grammar.

this course is aimed at students starting completely from zero. The course aims to give you knowledge of some basic grammatical structures (in the present tense), holiday vocabulary (food, travel, directions), and provide you with the conversational skills to answer simple questions about yourself, family and leisure.
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
There is no formal qualification for this course.
You will be able to progress onto the beginners’ continuation course, subject to ability and recruitment.
You will be required to purchase a course book set by the teacher. You will be advised on this during the first session.
