Our French Beginners course is the perfect way to start learning French. We'll start with the basics and guide you through this beautiful language, building your confidence each week so you can speak in everyday situations.

We will start you off with some basic French and cover topics such as shopping, directions, ordering a meal, and booking a room. Our expert language tutor, Dominique Legros, will support and guide you so that you can speak and understand basic language and grammar by the end of the course.
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
There is no formal qualification for this course.
Once you have finished this course, you could progress onto the French Beginners continuation course, or, depending on your level of French, you could join a more advanced course.
During your first session, we'll advise you on the best study book to purchase to help with your learning.
