What will I study?
We will start you off with some basic German and cover topics such as shopping, directions, ordering a meal, and booking a room. Our expert tutor, Cathy Dean, will support and guide you so that you can speak and understand basic language and grammar by the end of the course.
How will I be assessed?
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
What qualification will I achieve?
There is no qualification for this course, but you'll be awarded a certificate of attendance if you attend 80% or more of the course.
What can I do after completing this course?
Once you have finished this course, you could look to join a more advanced German language course or start to learn another language such as French, Spanish or Italian.
