A continuation from Beginners. The course is aimed at learners who have done a year of Italian and have an understanding of basic grammar, such as the present tense. The course introduces more complex grammatical structures, such as the past tense, and it expands everyday vocabulary (feelings, routine, likes and dislikes) so that you can sustain a simple conversation in everyday situations.
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
There is no formal qualification for this course.
Once you have finished this course, you could progress onto the Italian Intermediate course, or depending on your level of Italian, you could move onto the advanced course.
You will be required to purchase a course book set by the teacher. You will be advised on this during the first session.
