Our Japanese Improvers course will give you the opportunity to build and extend your existing Japanese language skills. We'll introduce Katakana spellings and some Kanji, so that by the end of the course, you will be able to communicate more confidently on a wider range of topics

What will I study?
This course is perfect if you have completed our beginners course or you have studied the language before. You will be able to practise your Japanese while learning Katakana spellings and Kanji. You'll practise through everyday conversations and have the chance to present your interests in Japanese culture. By the end of the course, you will be able to communicate more confidently on a wider range of topics.
How will I be assessed?
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual
What qualification will I achieve?
There is no qualification for this course, but you'll be awarded a certificate of attendance if you attend 80% or more of the course.
What can I do after completing this course?
Once you have finished this course, you might like to try some of our other language courses such as French, Spanish or Italian.
Are there any extra costs?
You will be required to purchase a course book set by the teacher. You will be advised on this during the first session.
