A continuation from Intermediate. This course is for students who are confident learners of Spanish and are comfortable speaking in the language on a wide range of topical issues, such as culture and traditions, education, history, lifestyles. The main goal of this course is to provide speaking opportunities which build up fluency and consolidate more complex vocabulary and grammar items (such as the dreaded subjunctive!). For each grammar point there is a cultural point that is discussed during the lesson.
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA.
There is no formal qualification for this course.
Once you have finished this course, you could progress onto the advanced Spanish course or start learning another language such as French.
You will be required to purchase a course book set by the teacher. You will be advised on this during the first session.
