Have you ever wished you could create beautiful flower arrangements for family's birthdays and special occasions? On this course, you will learn how to use flowers and colours together using simple techniques to help create beautiful floral designs. the course is designed to be fun and flexible to accommodate your specific interests. You will need to provide their own materials and flowers at an estimated cost of £10-£12 per week.
You will be able to take your own photos to create your own portfolio. You will be given individual verbal feedback as well as self and peer evaluations. After the practical work is completed there will be feedback by way of group assessment and discussion.
There is no qualification for this course. A college certificate of attendance is available for students who attend 80% or more.
Progression onto other floristry courses.
The cost of flowers and sundries are not included in the course fees. You will need to provide their own materials and flowers at an estimated cost of £10-£12 per week.
On the first week, you will need to bring a selection of small flowers and foliage, plus scissors or secateurs, you may also want to write notes.
