This 8-week course is led by Sue Golding and is ideal if you want to further your skills in floristry. You will learn how to use flowers and colours together to create beautiful floral designs. You will need to provide your own materials at an estimated cost of £10-£12 per week.

What will I study?

During this course, you will learn simple techniques for using flowers and colours together to create beautiful floral designs. From there, you will be able to produce hand-tied bouquets, foam-free designs, centrepieces, flower crowns, wristlets and buttonholes. The course is designed to be fun and flexible to accommodate your specific interests.

How will I be assessed?

You will be able to complete a portfolio of your work and will have the opportunity to be observed making practical pieces during class. We will also give feedback by way of group assessment and discussion.

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course, but you'll be awarded a certificate of attendance if you attend 80% or more of the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have finished this course, you can progress onto other floristry courses, or you can turn your passion into a brand new career.

Are there any extra costs?

The cost of flowers and sundries are not included in the course fees. You will need to provide their own materials at an estimated cost of £10-£12 per week.

Additional Info

On the first week, you will need to bring a selection of small flowers and leaves suitable for wiring, plus scissors or secateurs, an apron, notebook, pen and camera.
