During this Level 3 Barbering course, you will learn advanced hair cutting and facial hair barbering techniques as well as shaving and massage services. This will give you the perfect platform to begin your career in barbering at a high level once you've finished the course.
During the course, you will learn a range of barbering skills, as well as understand how to adopt safe working practices while in the salon.
You will study five key modules during this course and they will improve your ability to:
Successful completion of the Level 2 course and GCSE English or maths at grade 4.
You will be assessed through a combination of written assignments and practical assessments.
Once you have completed this course you will be ready to work in a barbers or unisex hair salon.
You will be expected to carry out independent study at home to complete coursework. You will need a good personal presentation as you will be working with clients.
The course is delivered by Allan Hyatt. He is the course coordinator for Level 4 Salon management and advanced hairdressing skills and Barbering. He is passionate about Hairdressing and Barbering delivery, and provides an exciting and fast paced course. Allan still works in industry and runs a successful freelance business.
