The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy is a specialist vocational qualification designed to prepare learners for employment as advanced senior beauty therapists.

Dermatology & Microbiology – understanding skin conditions, infection control, and microbial activity.
Physiology of Ageing – changes in skin structure and biological ageing processes.
Chemistry of Beauty Products – formulation science and ingredient functions.
Quality Management & Client Care – delivering professional, compliant, and client-centred services.
Salon Management – health and safety, compliance, leadership, marketing, and operational management.
Learners may also select optional units such as:
Marketing Research IT and data handling Public relations in the beauty industry
Assessment is entirely competency-based and focuses on real-world professional practice. Learners will complete:
Practical Assessments – demonstrating safe and effective performance of advanced treatments.
