What will I study?
Ear Candling can be a gentle alternative to ear syringing to help control or remove discomfort. We will teach the ancient art of ear candling so you can add this holistic treatment to your beauty therapy offering. You will learn anatomy and physiology of the ear, why people need ear candling, and how to perform a treatment safely. You will also learn lymphatic drainage and pressure point massage to complete the treatment.
How will I be assessed?
This course will have practical observations, tasks, assessments (95%) and an exam (5%) to achieve the qualification.
What qualification will I achieve?
Once you have completed this course, you will achieve a Guild Accredited Certificate in Ear Candling.
What can I do after completing this course?
Once you have finished this course, you will be able to perform ear candling in a salon or as a self-employed therapist. You might also like to gain other beauty qualifications by joining our other Guild courses, such as Eyelash Extensions.
