What will I study?

Creative Restyling: Techniques for transforming hairstyles with innovative cuts and styles. Advanced Colouring: Mastery of colour correction and creative coloring techniques. Cutting and Styling: Advanced cutting techniques and styling for different hair types and textures. Client Consultation: Effective communication and consultation skills to understand client needs and preferences. Health and Safety: Ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to health and safety regulations. Perming: Techniques for creating long-lasting curls and waves using various perming methods.

What previous qualifications or experience do I need?

You will be required to demonstrate a good level of English in both written and communication skills, in line with the level of the course.

How will I be assessed?

Practical Assessments: Students will demonstrate their skills in a real work environment, performing tasks such as creative restyling, advanced colouring, perming, and more. Portfolio of Evidence: Students will compile a portfolio showcasing their work, including before-and-after photos, client consultations, and detailed records of the techniques used. Written Assignments: These will test students' understanding of theoretical concepts, health and safety regulations, and salon management practices. Multiple Choice Tests: These tests will assess students' knowledge of hairdressing theory, techniques, and industry standards. Client Feedback: Evaluations from clients on the services provided will also form part of the assessment.
