What will I study?
This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as a nail technician including: providing and maintaining nail enhancements (extensions), manicure treatments, health and safety and client care.
Learners will also develop their understanding and skills by selecting a number of optional specialist units which include: pedicure treatments and nail art. This qualification structure provides learners with the flexibility to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required depending upon their designated career pathway as nail technician.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through observation of treatments, portfolio of evidence, examination, assignments and professional discussions.

There are many avenues of funding for our qualifications and they are bespoke to you and your financial and employment situation. More information can be found here. The government continues to invest into adult education and some of our courses can be completed free of charge (no fees) this means you will only need to fund you kit and uniform, sometimes that is funded as well. Don't let fees put you off as you may find we can help you on achieve your goals.
As stated above, you may need to pay course fees. The purchase of a kit is required which is estimated at around £200.
